Following of the Agreement with the Municipality Department of Jasienica, the Engineering CEDI Team was elaborated the Environmental Site Assessment for the investment based on building the water retention reservoir (artificial ) in Miedzyrzecze Gorna, on Jasieniczanka stream, in the Jasienica Commune.  This plan was pointed in the Retention Reservoir Programme of the Silesia Voivodeship.

On this stage of formalities, two option are evaluated: dry reservoir and the lake( wet).  The main purpose of creating this reservoir is float protection of the region, which is practically destroyed every year by the water.  Here, the streams and rivers are growing rapidly after the rainfalls.

The pictures of the area are below.

This Retention Reservoir  will be located  on the agricultural land and the water-mud as well.

It will cover the part of the existing  farm’s lakes, located in the Natura 2000  Upper Vistula Valley, and an environmentally valuable Jasieniczanka stream valley, with very characteristic aggregations of forests and shrubby areas as well as complementary meadow plants and damp herbal plants.
